Reball - March 19th @ Horizon

Crossfire will be hosting another Reball event this Friday (March 19th) from 5-9pm in the gym at Horizon Community Church's south campus in Tualatin. Cost is $10 if you have your own equipment or $15 if you need to rent equipment. Price covers HPA/CO2 and all the reballs you can shoot. For those who don't know, Reball is a paintball alternative that uses rubber balls instead of paint-filled capsules. They use all the same equipment (markers, masks, bunkers) and are shot at 250fps or less. We will be playing hopper ball using airball bunkers. The gym floor is a rubber compound, which makes sliding a bit difficult. Please no cleats, and make sure your clothes are clean and free of any paint residue. ABSOLUTLY NO PAINTBALLS ALLOWED ONSITE.

We have access to the gym starting at 5:00pm and could use all the help we can get to set up. The more help we have, the faster everything goes up, and the sooner we can begin playing. We have to be out by 10:00pm, and could use help tearing down afterwards as well.

Directions to Horizon Community Church

Please post up if you have any questions or plan on coming. This is great practice for all you speedball players, and I look forward to seeing you all there.

I've never played with reballs. Is the impact similar to a regular paintball?

We tune the markers down to 250fps so they're not hitting as hard. I think they hurt about the same, but for some reason the marks and bruises seem to last longer than regular paintballs.

This is coming from someone who did a very poor job of not getting shot last night... :?
