Crossfire has been asked to enter a team into the Feb 6th West Coast Paintball Series (WCPS) event at Warpaint's Chemawa field in Keizer. We have not yet committed, but I figured I would extend this opportunity to our members.
This is a 5-man centerflag speedball tournament geared towards Rookie & Open teams. Cost is $100 per team (max 6 players per roster) and $45-$55 per case of paint.
Over the past few months, I have been approached by several of you who have asked about starting a Crossfire speedball team. I will most likely not be participating, however I have a couple experienced players who have expressed a willingness to coach a team should we put one together. We are still exploring what the structure of this team would look like long term, but that is likely to be determined significantly by commitment level of the players who wind up composing the team. For now, since this first event is less than a month away, this is likely just an opportuntiy for some of our regulars who share a common interest in speedball to get a chance to play together.
